Brief
West Brom Building Society commissioned Pyramid Creative to deliver a new suite of staff photography that extended the look and feel of their national mortgage campaigns. Building on a strong existing relationship, the brief was to capture authentic, empowering imagery of colleagues across branches and head office — bringing warmth, approachability and credibility to the brand, while maintaining consistency with their established campaign aesthetic. The imagery needed to feel editorial, confident and human, and work seamlessly across national advertising, print and digital channels
Approach
We led the project end-to-end, working closely with West Brom to shape the brief, define locations and art direct the imagery to achieve shots that captured staff with an uplifting and confident tone. Pyramid Creative took full responsibility for production — scoping the shoot, assembling and managing the crew, securing lighting and technical support, and overseeing logistics across multiple locations. On set, we focused on real interactions, natural posture and subtle direction to capture staff as welcoming, professional and empowered — producing a cohesive library of imagery that aligned perfectly with the wider campaign work. All photography was shot, graded and retouched by us to final delivery standard.
Impact
The resulting imagery gave West Brom a confident, people-first visual toolkit that could be used consistently across national mortgage campaigns, branch communications and internal materials. By placing colleagues at the heart of the story, the work reinforced trust, approachability and professionalism — strengthening brand recognition and ensuring staff photography felt as considered and impactful as the campaign imagery it supported.
